Bilateral agreement on Visa Exception for the holders of Ordinary Passports between Republic of the Union of Myanmar & Socialist Republic of Vietnam

It is informed that the Government of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar and the Government of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam had signed the agreement on visa exemption for the holders of ordinary passports on 26 September 2013 in two originals each of which comprises (3) duplicates in Myanmar, Vietnamese and English languages in accordance with the ASEAN Framework Agreement on Visa Exemption. This Agreement will enter into force on 26 October 2013.
Accordingly, citizens of either Contracting Party to this Agreement traveling with ordinary passports with at least six months validity will be exempted from any visa requirements to enter or depart from and transit through the territory of the other Party and shall be entitled to stay in the territory of the other Contracting Party for no more than fourteen (14) days from the date of entry as provided under this Agreement.
