Singaporean President extends warm welcome to President U Thein Sein and wife

President U Thein Sein and wife Daw Khin Khin Win, Singapore President Tony Tan and wife Mary Tan
NAY PYI TAW, 1 Feb- A ceremony to extend a welcome to President of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar U Thein Sein and wife Daw Khin Khin Win by President of the Republic of Singapore Dr. Tony Tan Keng Yam and wife was held at the Istana Presidential House in Singapore on 30 January morning.
On arrival at the Instana Presidential House, President U Thein Sein and wife were welcomed by the Singaporean President and wife. President U Thein Sein and Singaporean counterpart took the salute of the guard of honour as the state band of Singapore played national anthem of the two countries.
Afterwards, they inspected the guard of honour.
After taking the salute of the guard of honour, President U Thein Sein signed in the visitors book.
Singaporean President Dr Tony Tan Keng Yam introduced President U Thein Sein with Singaporean ministers, ambassadors, high-ranking officials who attended the welcoming ceremony.
Similarly, President U Thein Sein introduced Singaporean President Dr Tony Tan Keng Yam with members of the goodwill delegation of Myanmar.
